BUTTERFIELD BERMUDA APGA CHAMPIONSHIP
Established in 2010, the APGA Tour is a non-profit organization whose mission is to prepare African Americans and other minority golfers to compete and win at the highest level of professional golf, both on tour and in the golf industry:
- Produce best in class golf tournaments
- Simulate the PGA TOUR tournament experience for African American and other minority golf professionals to further their development
- Prepare members to win at the highest levels with the Player Development Program
- Experience an APGA Tour member playing full time on the PGA TOUR or KORN FERRY TOUR by 2025
- Grow the game by bringing minorities into golf
- Attract 2,000+ African American and other minorities into the game by 2025
- Prepare minorities for a career in golf
- Create and implement an internship program
ELIGIBILITY
The field is comprised of the top 18 finishers from the 2023 APGA Season and 3 local Bermudian Qualifiers.
FORMAT
The event is a 36-hole individual stroke play competition. Players will be paired in groups of three and all participants will play:
